Halloween Task 2

For this task we worked in groups of three and had to decide on what to dress our lecturer and his wife and son up as for halloween. Our group have chosen the Tim Burtons Alice and Wonderland.

We would have Donald as the Mad Hatter , his wife as The Queen of Hearts and his son as Alice. The reason we have chosen this is because the make-up is very unique and outstanding. We chose to have his son as Alice rather than dressing him as the bunny as it makes it funnier. You can get these costumes relatively cheap but if you wear to add more detail and more affect it would be alot more expensive.

Halloween Task 1

Day of the Dead make-up and outfit is a fun idea for halloween. To get this look you can find it on this website-http://www.joke.co.uk/women-s-day-of-the-dead-costume~70339/ . This outfit will cost £54.99, this includes the dress, scarf and mask but if you wish to do your own make-up you can do so.

Here is a youtube tutorial of how you can create this day of the dead look-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTioL3Pqswg

Task 6

One product that i love is called Red Square by Nars, i love this lip pencil because you can get a very light  orange colour from it which looks very natural or you can have very bold lips which give its an orangey red colour. I started using this lip pencil when i seen the cast of of Made In Chelsea (MIC) wearing a natural orange on their lips and ever since i've wanted it. I tried numerous lipstick and pencil and could never find any like it until i vistited Rosie Fortescue from MIC's blog were she mentions that she uses Red Square by Nars. I bought the product and now i cant see by it as its my favourite product and which i take everywhere.

We put all of our must-have beauty products together and voted which we all thought was the best must-have product. We voted the winner as Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which costs £4, we chose this product mostly because everyone gets spots and it covers them and its also cheap.
